Rafał Ohme is a well known Polish business and advertising psychologist, lecturer at High School of Social Psychology (Szkoła Wyższa Psychologii Społecznej, SWPS) and the Institute of Psychology at the
Polish Academy of Science (Polska Akademia Nauk, PAN). He works with theStanford University and theKellogg Graduate School of Management .He specializes in
psychology ofconsumer behaviour - he has been conducting research on this subject since 1996. His research lines also include:consciousness ,facial expression ,advertising andpersuasion in the media. He is an owner of two innovative advertising research companies inWarsaw : [http://labtd.com LABoratory] and Neuro LAB.Author of books: "Subliminal mimic information" and "Advanced Advertising Psychology", editor of "Unconscious Affect", and the trilogy: "Automatisms".
A member of EAESP (
European Association of Experimental Social Psychology ), APS (American Psychological Society ), ASSC (Association for the Scientific Study of Consciousness ) andAssociation for NeuroPsychoEconomics . He has received awards from the Prime Minister and President ofPoland , theFoundation For Polish Science (Fundacja na rzecz Nauki Polskiej, FNP) and theFulbright Scholarship .
