"Hermit of Mink Hollow" is Todd Rundgren's eighth solo album, released in 1978. Reminiscent of the artist's more pop-oriented records (though less eccentric than, say, 1972's "Something/Anything?"), "Mink Hollow" finds Rundgren coming to terms with heartbreak as well as explicitly voicing his deep-felt humanitarian concerns. Working again in one-man band mode, it remains one of his most popular albums.

Mink Hollow refers to a valley, and the road that runs through it, in Woodstock, NY. Todd recorded this album while living in a house on Mink Hollow Road.
