History

The station was built by pioneer Utah broadcaster Arch Webb in 1947 with call sign KVOG - the "Voice of Ogden" and subsequently changed to KJQN on 1978-12-01 and changed on 1993-06-28 to KJOE. The radio station was acquired by the Bible Broadcasting Network from US Bankruptcy Court in Salt Lake City, UT in 2004. KYFO aired primarily religious programming. The station was then sold to AM Radio 1490, Inc in 2005, and changed to the call sign KOGN on 2006-05-01.
