Teamster (horse)

Teamster (horse)

Teamster was a thoroughbred racehorse owned and bred by Philip Newton. By Known Fact, out of Rosetta Stone, he won back to back Sagaro Stakes which is a Group 3 flat race run over 2 miles at Ascot racecourse. His first victory in the Sagaro he made all and ran out a comfortable winner, the second Sagaro Stakes was altogether different as he went to sleep out the back of the pack and produced a real turn of foot to lead a furlong out to win comfortably. His one other group success came in the Henry Second Stakes at Sandown Park, where he took control two furlongs out and ran out a very easy winner.

Teamster retired to stud duties in 1992 as a national hunt sire, where he had 39 winners over jumps.
