Bidhannagar Municipal School is a primary and high school in Bidhannagar (Salt Lake City), Kolkata, India.

History

The school was founded in 1997, the first classes being held in Acharya Prafulla Chandra School, BK Block, Salt Lake, but soon the school was moved to its new built building in FE Block. Campus

The three-storey building has a triangular shape with a small courtyard in the middle. It has also a huge playground just beside the main building. It is a stone's throw from Karunamoyee crossing, and thus is well linked with the whole city by numerous buses and autos.

Academic programme

The school to has a primary department and a high school department up to 12th standard. It gives its students the option to study in Bengali or English medium. At the +2 level, there are both science and humanities streams.

Facilities

The school has well equipped laboratories and equipment for various sports. Student life
