botanical garden s located along the bank of theSouth Platte River , at 6115 South Santa Fe Drive inLittleton, Colorado , USA. They are open 365 days a year, with no admission fee from November through April.The Gardens began in 1941 as the private garden of Colonel King C. and Evelyn Leigh Hudson, and became public in 1996. They contain varied grounds ranging from high, dry
