Robert Meyrowitz

Robert "Bob" Meyrowitz was the creator of the radio program the King Biscuit Flower Hour. In the late 1980's he started Semaphore Entertainment Group, which was one of the first groups to develop content for Pay Per View. In 1993 he co-created the Ultimate Fighting Championship [ [http://www.nowpublic.com/no_holds_barred_eddie_goldman_speaks_with_bob_meyrowitz_0 NO HOLDS BARRED: Eddie Goldman Speaks With Bob Meyrowitz | The News is NowPublic.com ] ] . In 1999, Meyrowitz created Eyada.com [ [http://www.digitalhollywood.com/LAThursdayEight.html Digital.Hollywood ] ] , the first internet radio station.

In January 2008, Meyrowitz announced the formation of his new MMA company, YAMMA Pit Fighting [ [http://www.businesswire.com/portal/site/google/index.jsp?ndmViewId=news_view&newsId=20080129005652&newsLang=en Yamma Pit Fighting Emerges as New Force on the MMA Scene ] ] . YAMMA is a joint venture between Meyrowitz's company, Rope Partners, and Live Nation.
