"Hope Springs" is a new British television drama series for BBC One to be shown in early 2009. It will be produced by Shed Productions, the company behind "Bad Girls" and "Footballers' Wives".

Plot

The 8-part series will follow the lives of four female ex-cons (Ellie, Hannah, Josie and Shoo) attempting to start a new life, who find themselves in the Scottish village of "Hope Springs".
