Ana Mato Adrover

Ana Mato Adrover (born on 24 September 1959 in Madrid)is a Spanish politician and
Member of the European Parliament with the People's Party,Member of the Bureau of the European People's Party and sits onthe European Parliament's Committee on Employment and Social Affairs.

She is a substitute for the Committee on Regional Development and a member of theDelegation to the EU-Mexico Joint Parliamentary Committee.

* Graduate in Political Science and Sociology, Complutense University of Madrid
* Lecturer and tutor at the Spanish National Distance Learning University (UNED)
* Member of the National Executive Committee of the PP

Career

* 1986-1990: Deputy director of the private office of the President of Castilla y León
* 1991-1993: Independent member of the Madrid Assembly
* 1996-2000 and 2000-2004: National member of parliament for Madrid (1993-1996)
* 2000-2004: coordinator for local participation and action
* 2000-2004: spokeswoman on Communications and the Media (1983-1986), Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications (1986-2000) and Science and Technology
* 2003-2004: planning coordinator
