Edavilangu is a village in Kodungallur.The west side of Edavilangu is the Arabian sea. Lot of devotees are coming here at the time of Kodungallur bharani mahotsavam. GHS Edavilangu is the main school in edavilangu. Here thousands of students are studying. Saraswathi vidhya nikethan is another school in Edavilagu it is located near by the siva krishnapuram temple. Edavilangu market is the largest "thazhappaya" selling and buying place in the world.Edavilangu high school is no:1 in govt: schools.
