The MXR Auto Phaser was designed for professional applications. It was designed to produce a phasing effect with low noise and low distortion. The module was one of a series to be fitted into the “Professional Products Rack” along with other modules including a flanger and a limiter. [Page 13, MXR Professional Products Catalog 1977]
