Miyama was born in Chiba, Japan, and started her career as a football player in the club herfather was a founder.Later she joined Yomiuri Beleza (NTV Beleza) in 1999 after Playing Yomiuri Menina(
NTV Menina ), but when she was eleventh grade, she left the team and went to the high-school football club. Even among male players, she kept playing football.Miyama joined Okayama Yunogo Belle in 2001, receiving invitation from Honda Midori, the couch. She has played for Okayama Yunogo for about seven years.
In the
2007 FIFA Women's World Cup held inShanghai ,China , Miyama performed a bright appearance in the match against England, she scored two direct free-kicks and drew Japan back level. Some media compared her to the famous English football playerDavid Beckham .External links
