Ashley Nichole Lane is an American independent professional wrestler who performs for organizations in the Ohio/East Coast/Mid-South area such as OCW, PWO, HWA, EGO Pro, PGWA and IPW, and is a regular with the all-female promotion SHIMMER Women Athletes.

Career

Lane got her start in professional wrestling shortly after graduating from Ridgewood High School in West Lafayette, Ohio. She saw a poster for a local indy promotion, contacted the promoter and began training a short time later under the name Lexi Lane. cite web

On October 14, 2006, Lane competed in the fifth annual WXW Elite 8, an all-women's tournament. She lost in the first round to Faith.

On March 10, 2007, Lane became the first ever OCW Women's Champion by winning a tournament at the first annual Ladies' Night. She defeated Sassy Stephie, Hailey Hatred and ODB en route to her championship victory.cite web

language = English] She would hold the title until November, when she lost it to Nevaeh. She regained the title on May 10, 2008.

On October 13, 2007, she made her debut in SHIMMER: Women Athletes as Ashley Lane. On the taping of Volume 15 of their DVD series, she teamed with Lorelei Lee and lost to Portia Perez and Nicole Matthews. Later that night on Volume 16, she lost to Alexa Thatcher.

On March 22, 2008, Lane competed in the second annual Ladies' Night tournament for OCW. She was eliminated in the first round in a match that also included Sassy Stephie and Lorelei Lee, and the eventual winner Allison Danger. Later in the night, she beat Jessicka Havok in singles action.

On April 19, 2008, Lane competed for the Ring of Honor event Return Engagement in Chicago, Illinois. She lost in a Four Corner Survival Match to MsChif. Lacey and Daizee Haze were in the match also.

Lane forms a frequent tag team with another Midwest standout, Nevaeh, in promotions such as OCW and IPW. They made their team debut in SHIMMER on April 26, 2008, losing to the Experience on the Volume 17 taping and then scoring a big win against the Minnesota Homewrecking Crew on Volume 18. Then on Volume 19, they beat Veronika Vice and Cat Power, and then lost to Rain and Jetta in their Volume 20 match on July 5, 2008.
