Jack Ikegwuonu (born January 7, 1986 in city-state|Madison|Wisconsin) is an American football cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Eagles in the fourth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at Wisconsin.

Early years

He played high school football at James Madison Memorial High School in Madison.

Professional career

Pre-draft

Ikegwuonu elected to forgo his senior college season to enter the 2008 NFL Draft, but then injured his knee in January 2008 while preparing for the NFL Scouting Combine.

Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles selected him in the fourth round, as the 131st overall selection. He is expected to miss the entire 2008 season, and on July 22 was placed on the Physically-Unable-to-Perform list.
