Canelas is a portuguese community from Arouca, with 20,89 km² of area and 864 habitants (2001). Density: 41,4 hab/km².

Canelas was a community of Arouca since 1843, and before this, he was part of the community of Alvarenga. Is formed by the peoples from Gamarão de Baixo, Gamarão de Cima, Mealha, Vilarinho, Estreitinha, Canelas de Baixo, Canelas de Cima.
