Business Executives for National Security

Business Executives for National Security (BENS) is an American public interest group. It was founded in 1982 by former mining executive Stanley A. Weiss.

Programs supported by BENS have included the Base Realignment and Closure program [cite web

] and the Nunn-Lugar Cooperative Threat Reduction program.

Board members include former Hewlett-Packard chairman, Carly Fiorina; former AIG chairman, Maurice R. Greenberg; EDS founder Ross Perot; and former chairman of Goldman Sachs, John C. Whitehead. The group's current president is former Air Force general Charles G. Boyd.
