Monique Powell

Monique Powell

Monique Powell (born August 20 1975) is a California-based vocalist.

She was born in Los Angeles, California, grew up in Garden Grove, California, and attended California State University, Fullerton. She was the lead singer of the ska band Save Ferris, from 1995 until they broke up in 2002. She is currently working on her solo career and clothing line, Msquared Clothing. Monique Powell has also performed with artists such as Mest, Reel Big Fish, Hilary Duff, and sings additional vocals on "Wake the Dead" and "Smother Me" on The Used's "Lies for the Liars". She has also appeared in the movie "10 Things I Hate About You".

Continuing her work with The Used's Bert McCracken, Monique appears on the track "Handjobs for Jesus" on Goldfinger's "Hello Destiny".
