The Lauréat Prix International de Géographie Vautrin Lud (Colloquialised as "Prix Vautrin Lud" or the "Vautrin Lud International Geography Prize") established in 1991, it is the highest award that can be gained in the field of geography [ [http://www.utdallas.edu/news/archive/2005/berry-lud.html U.
