minor league baseball stadium located inJackson, Tennessee . It opened in 1998.Pringles Park was built by the municipal
government of Jackson and is the home of theWest Tenn Diamond Jaxx of the Southern League. The Jaxx are the Class AA affiliate of theSeattle Mariners . The stadium is located east ofdowntown Jackson and is highly visible fromInterstate 40 . Its name derives from the sale ofnaming rights toProcter & Gamble for itsPringles Potato Chips product, which is manufactured in Jackson. The stadium has become the source of much controversy in Jackson as of late; the agreement for the Diamond Jaxx team to occupy it expired at the end of the 2005 season.
The team considered a move to South Carolina after the 2005 season, citing financial problems. They later signed a three-year lease to play at Pringles Park through the 2008 season.
