Australian legal citation

The definitive guide to Australian Legal citation is the Australian Guide to Legal Citation (commonly known as AGLC) as published by [http://mulr.law.unimelb.edu.au/ Melbourne University Law Review] .

It covers the citation of most sources a law student might need to cite in a law essay or paper:
*general, ie spelling, names, numbers
*cases
*legislation
*journal articles
*books
*other sources
*international materials
*Canada
*New Zealand
*UK
*USA

Law journals which have adopted the AGLC, as many Australian journals have, often devise supplements to address specific citation needs. After all, the AGLC does not set out to be an exhaustive citation manual.
