He played an important role and became a vital player for
AE Larissa during his years with the club, including Larissa's appearances in theUefa Cup group stages during the 2007-08 season, attracting interest from Greeces bigger teams.In January 2008 it was confirmed that Galitsios had signed a pre-contract agreement with Olympiacos Piraeus, and will join at the start of the 2008-09 season.
