"The One and Only" is an album by Gladys Knight and the Pips, released in 1978 on Buddah Records. It was released the same year as Gladys Knight's first solo album "Miss Gladys Knight" as well as the Pips album "Callin'". The album is produced by various producers, including Michael Masser, Richie Wise, Tony Camillo, and Van McCoy/Charles Kipps. It was issued on CD by Kama Sutra Records on February 17 1999.

The song "It's a Better Than Good Time" was later recorded and released by Gladys Knight solo as her first solo single in 1978.
