Mary Marques

Maria Jose Felicia Nunes Marques (February 11, 1896 – January 3, 2008) was an American supercentenarian. She was born in Portugal and had two daughters. At the time of her death, she was believed to be the twenty-second oldest person in the world and the oldest person in Massachusetts. She never learned to read, write, or drive; she did gardening and crocheting. She died in her sleep at the Julian J. Leavitt Family Jewish Nursing Home in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, aged 111 years 326 days.
