Andrea di Bolgi

Andrea di Bolgi

Andrea di Bolgi was a sculptor from Carrara. He worked in the workshop of Gian Lorenzo Bernini in the 1630s, where he created the sculpture of Saint Helena in the crossing of Saint Peter's. After he was released from service by Bernini, he went to Naples, where, amongst others, he worked for Giovan Camillo Cacace in his family chapel.
