Brent Street began 22 years ago in 'Brent Street' Drummoyne, Sydney. It was founded by Marianne, Karen and Jacqui Howard who each had resounding successes in the entertainment industry. As students flocked to their school, Eisteddfod awards began to roll in, TV appearances became commonplace and word spread. They quickly outgrew their tiny church hall premises and moved to a larger studio space in Rozelle. Rapidly growing student numbers meant another studio move (just across the street, again in Rozelle) and then another to Camperdown.
The school was then based at Waterloo until early 2007 when they moved premises to Fox studios. The school now consists of six modern dance studios, a theatre and a recording studio, as well as two story admin block which contains offices and a space for the
Talent Development High School They have over 1,000 part time students enrolled, 100 full-time students and 90 Talent Development students who can all be seen regularly on various television shows.
