Royal Copeland was a Canadian Football League running back from 1945-1956.

Copeland won four Grey Cup with the Toronto Argonauts. He became a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1988. Along with Joe Krol they were known as the "Gold Dust Twins". Copleland is the only player to score a touchdown in 3 consecutive Grey Cup games: 1945, 1946, and 1947.
