The Botany of Iceland – a five-volume classic scientific work on
flora andvegetation ofIceland , includingfungi ,lichens ,algae ,bryophytes andvascular plants . It was published 1912 to 1949 and funded by theCarlsberg Foundation . The project was initiated byEugen Warming andLauritz Kolderup Rosenvinge , who edited the first three volumes, but it was continued after their deaths.*Volume 1 (1912-1918), edited by L.
