- Edward Ernest Green
Edward Ernest Green (1861 – 1949) was an English mycologist and
entomologist who specialised in Coccidae.Green was born in
Colombo ,Sri Lanka . From 1880 Green managed his family's tea and coffee plantations inCeylon .He wrote "The Coccidae of Ceylon", that was published by Dulau & Co. in London (five volumes 1896-1922) [ [http://www.jstor.org/sici?sici=0003-0147(189708)31%3A368%3C701%3ATCOC%3E2.0.CO%3B2-8 Review by T.
