Lepetellidae is a taxonomic family of small deepwater limpets, marine gastropod molluscs in the superfamily Lepetelloidea in the clade Vetigastropoda (according taxonomy of the Gastropoda by Bouchet & Rocroi, 2005). (It was in order Cocculiniformia before.)

Description

These small limpets have their shell apex directed posteriorly, and have rhipidoglossate dentition (that is, with central, lateral, and marginal teeth).
