Leodis Anquan McKelvin (born September 1, 1985 in city-state|Waycross|Georgia) is an American football cornerback for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Bills 11th overall in the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at Troy.

Early years

McKelvin played high school football at Ware County High School in Waycross, Georgia.

Professional career

Buffalo Bills

McKelvin was drafted by the Buffalo Bills 11th overall in the 2008 NFL Draft. He was the first cornerback selected. On July 26, McKelvin signed a five-year, $19.4 million contract with the Bills with up to $12.6 million in bonuses. McKelvin made a splash in the NFL preseason with his kick returning skills, returning several kicks and punts for very long returns. McKelvin also returned a kickoff for a touchdown in a preseason game against the Steelers.
