Its seat is the village of Harasiuki, which lies approximately convert|26|km|mi|0 east of Nisko and convert|61|km|mi|0|abbr=on north-east of the regional capital Rzeszów.

The gmina covers an area of convert|168.29|km2|sqmi|1, and as of 2006 its total population is 6,392.
