Nora Ali

Nora Ali, a student from Mendota Heights, Minnesota, who won the title of America's Junior Miss 2007. Ali won the coveted gold medallion and collected more than $56,000 in cash scholarships to use at the college of her choice. She is currently a freshman at Harvard University pursuing a degree in Business and Economics.

The daughter of immigrants of Bangladesh, Ali has used her title to help raise awareness for her parents' home country and to raise funds for the victims of the Cyclone Sidr. She recently traveled with her family to Bangladesh to personally deliver funds that she and her sister raised this year by giving Henna tattoos to their fellow Harvard students. During her visit, Ali was able to visit the National Mausoleum in Savar to pay tribute to liberation war martyrs and made appearances to raise awareness for the storm victims.

Ali serves as the representative of America's Junior Miss, making appearances across the United States to educate people about the program and to endorse the Be Your Best Self Program. Since winning the title, Ali has made school visits, been the special guest at many events, and has been interviewed by media from across the country. Ali has also performed the "The Star-Spangled Banner and "God Bless America" on the violin at Major League Baseball games, fund raising concerts, and other events.
