About
Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology was established in 1999 by two eminent visionaries in the education field viz; Sri A.P. Jithender Reddy and Sri V. Purushottam Reddy to impart quality technical education to the aspiring young students in the fields of Engineering, Management and Computer Applications. Situated in the back drop of Hussainsagar in the serene surroundings of Chilkuri Balaji temple, VJIT has a sprawling and lush green campus with architecturally splendorous buildings in an area of 12 acres. VJIT is in a hub of technical education with several institutes of higher learning in its vicinity. VJIT has excellent academic and administrative infrastructure with guidance from the management consisting of businessmen and eminent NRI’s and educationalists.
Academically, the college has got the services of specialists in each of the disciplines CSE, ECE, IT, EEE, Mech.E, M.B.A. and M.C.A. guiding the destiny of departments.These heads of the departments are assisted by young, energetic and dynamic faculty. The college’s Admistrative Office assists the management and principal in the day to day operations of the college. The college has got an excellent library, a state of art internet lab, modern labs for each of departments, a central workshop, sports and games facility, a cateen and mineral water facility. The college also provides transport and medical facility.
