Central Avenue is a major thoroughfare running east-west through the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico. It runs through the neighborhoods of Downtown Albuquerque, Old Town, Nob Hill, as well as the University of New Mexico. It carried U.S. Route 66 until that highways decommissioning in 1985.
