*Overall UIL Academic Champion – 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, and 2008
**The 1998 and 1999 championships were in Class AA; all others were in Class A.
**It is believed that no other high school in Texas has as many overall academic championships.
**In 2007, Lindsay scored an astounding 263 points in its UIL academic championship, the most of any school in any classification and the highest total ever recorded by any school. To put the total in perspective, if one were to combine the total points of Salado and Friendswood (the Class AA and AAAA championship schools that had the next highest championship points behind Lindsay), their "combined" total would still not match Lindsay's "individual" accomplishment.
