Fort McKavett is an unincorporated community in Menard County, Texas, United States. It lies at the intersections of Roads 864 and 1674 a short distance south of U.S. Route 190, southwest of the city of Menard, the county seat of Menard County. [Rand McNally. "The Road Atlas '06."
