Theodore Samuel "Teeder" Kennedy (born
December 12 ,1925 ) is a retired professionalice hockey centre.Born in Port Colborne,
Ontario , Kennedy played fourteen years in the NHL; all of them with theToronto Maple Leafs . He won theHart Memorial Trophy in 1955 and was inducted into theHockey Hall of Fame in 1966. In 1998, he was ranked number 57 on "The Hockey News "' list of the 100 Greatest Hockey Players. In 1951 He as Captain of theToronto Maple Leafs greeted the futureQueen Elizabeth II when She visitedMaple Leaf Gardens inToronto .1n 1957–1958, he was the second coach of the
