Anita Elson (1898 – 1985) was an American dancer and singer who appeared in
revues inNew York City andLondon, England , ["Europe's Newest of Dance Sensations",Lima News , April 15, 1923, pg. 48.] in the early 20th century.She performed in "The Cohan Revue-(1916)", a production of
George M. Cohan . The show debuted at theAstor Theatre in February 1916. Cohan managed the venue and wrote both book, lyrics, and tunes for the presentation.
