Grafton Memorial Senior High School prides itself with imbibing students with lifelong learning skills, both socially and academically.
The school has a population of 700 students in grades 9-12 with an average class size of 25.
A committed and energetic educational staff includes 2 administrators, 42 teachers,3 guidance counselors, a school psychologist, a speech and language pathologist, a library media specialist, and support staff in the following areas: media center clerk,special education aides, nurse, administrative secretary, guidance secretary, 2 clerk typists, 5 custodians, and 4 cafeteria workers.
Grafton High School has an individualized student program with ability grouping. Our curriculum offers 110 courses in areas of visual and performing arts, business, English, world languages, health, family and consumer science, mathematics, physical education, computer science, social studies, science and technology, community service, school service, and independent studies.
Grafton High School Students continually score above state and national averages on SAT’s. In the Class of 2003, 100% passed the MCAS test. Our goal is to nurture the desire for life-long learning by imparting to our students the abilities to think critically, to apply knowledge creatively to new situations, to communicate effectively, to utilize technology, and to view personal wellness from a holistic perspective.
