A. Gratius Avitus is a Latin philologist born in Zaragoza (Spain) in 1968. In London, his city of residence since 1992, he founded the

Schola Latina Universalis and theAcademia Thules .He also promoted the living use of the Latin language at the 2005 Summer School [Cf. http://www.arlt.co.uk/dhtml/arlt_db.php?catID=4] of the Association for Latin Teaching and lectured in Latin about Latin teaching through the Internet at the 11th International Conference [Cf. http://www.academialatina.org/acroases.html] of the Academia Latinitati Fovendæ.
