Mark Ellis is a Canadian actor and screenwriter. He is the co-creator and co-executive producer of the television series Flashpoint which airs on CTV, ION Television and networks around the world. The series garnered a record-breaking 19 nominations in 2009. Ellis received a writing nomination for the episode 'Haunting The Barn'. He has appeared in television, film and theatre, including the Emmy-award winning Dark Oracle, Paradise Falls and The Shields Stories. He co-wrote and starred in the Genie-nominated short film Remembrance with his spouse Stephanie Morgenstern.
