Alun D Pughe

Alun D Pughe (born in Aberystwyth on November 28th, 1977) is an award-winning Welsh film and music video director.

Biography

Alun's career began in 2005 with a fifteen minute psychological film noir entitled "The Girl, the Gun and the Desert", which was repeatedly screened on Sky Channel and in Cardiff city cinemas. After being optioned for a European graphic novel adaptation it was nominated and later won the Swansea Bay International Film Festival in 2006. Working under the banner of All Star Friends Productions Alun moved directly into the music promo video industry winning the Notion Magazine Best New Film Maker Award in 2007. At the end of the year Alun also won his category in the Newport International Film Festival in 2007.
