Natalie Griesbeck (born
24 May 1956 inMetz ) is a French politician andMember of the European Parliament for the East of France. She is a member of theUnion for French Democracy , part of theAlliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe .She sits on the
Committee on Budgets and is a substitute for theCommittee on Transport and Tourism . She is also a member of theEuropean Parliament 's delegation for relations withMercosur and a substitute for the delegation for relations with the countries ofSoutheast Asia and ASEAN.Griesbeck has a
master's degree inpublic law (1979) and postgraduatediploma s (DEAs) in public law (1980) andlegal history (1981). She was formerly alecturer in public law at theUniversity of Metz , and has also served as deputymayor ofMetz , with responsibility forfinance andeconomic development , vice-chair of Metz Council, with responsibility for economic development, a member of theMoselle Council, and chair ofTranscité (2001–2003). She holds thePalmes académiques and theOrdre National du Mérite .External links
