6GGG is a commercial radio station in Geraldton which has been broadcasting since 1937. It was once part of the Whitford Radio Network which also included 6PM Perth and 6AM Northam. In 1991 it converted from 1008 AM to 96.5 FM and changed it's callsign to 6GGG as the first commercial FM station in Regional WA. Also in this year it was awarded a second FM licence which saw 98FM go to air. 2005 saw 96.5 relaunch as WAFM and all on air control was shifted to Perth except for the 10-2 shift which is presented by Adam McGuire out of the Geraldton studios.
