Stara Kraśnica ( _de. Altschönau) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Świerzawa, within Złotoryja County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany.

It lies approximately convert|3|km|mi|0 south-east of Świerzawa, convert|15|km|mi|0 south of Złotoryja, and convert|80|km|mi|0 west of the regional capital Wrocław.
