Stary Węgliniec ( _de. Alt Kohlfurt) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Węgliniec, within Zgorzelec County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany.

It lies approximately convert|3|km|mi|0 north-west of Węgliniec, convert|22|km|mi|0 north-east of Zgorzelec, and convert|130|km|mi|0 west of the regional capital Wrocław.

The village has a population of 1,100.
