The Metropolitan School District of Decatur Township is a public school district located in Decatur Township, Indianapolis, Indiana. It has an enrollment of 6,131 students in grades K-12 (one K early childhood center, four 1-4 elementary schools, two 5-6 intermediate schools, one 7-8 middle school, and one 9-12 high school).[1] There is also a charter school run by the school district, as well as an alternative school. The school district is redistricting and plans to convert Lynwood Elementary to an early childhood center. The other three elementaries and the two intermediate schools will become 1st-6th schools. The district superintendent is Don Stinson.
