Farouq Qasrawi

Farouk Qasrawi is a Jordanian diplomat. He began as the foreign minister of Jordan on 7 April 2005 when a new government was formed. His predecessor was Hani al-Mulki. Qasrawi had previously been director of the Jordan Diplomatic Institute and the ambassador of Jordan to Japan and Germany. He left his post as foreign minister in November 2005 when the Adnan Badran government fell. Qasrawi then worked as an advisor at the Royal Court. Later, Qasrawi was appointed as the manager of the personal office of his majesty, King Abdullah II and then a personal advisor to him. In November 2007, Qasrawi was apponited a senator.
