October 15, 1934 ) is an Americanactor who has worked primarily intelevision .Born in
Boston, Massachusetts , Haskell attended Browne & Nichols in Cambridge, then earned aBachelor of Arts degree atHarvard University following a two-year stint in the US Army. His plan to study atColumbia Law School was derailed when he was cast in theoff-Broadway play "The Love Nest" withJames Earl Jones andSally Kirkland [ [http://lortel.org/LLA_archive/index.cfm?search_by=show&id=4220 "The Love Nest" at the Lortel Archives] ] . The play closed after only 13 performances but led to his being cast in an episode of "Death Valley Days ". Guest appearances on "The Outer Limits ", "Dr. Kildare ", "The Man from U.N.C.L.E. ", "Ben Casey ", and "The Fugitive" followed. He later was a regular on the daytimesoap opera s "Search for Tomorrow " and "Ryan's Hope " and theprimetime drama "Bracken's World ", had recurring roles in "Garrison's Gorillas ", "The Big Valley ", "Mannix ", "Medical Center", "Barnaby Jones ", and "Vega$ ", and was featured in theminiseries "Rich Man, Poor Man Book II " and thetelevision movie "The Cracker Factory " withNatalie Wood .In recent years Haskell has appeared on "
Frasier ", "JAG ", "The Closer ", and "Cold Case ".Haskell starred as Sullivan, CEO of Good Guy Toys in 1990's
