Vasily Borisovich Sheremetev ( _ru. Василий Борисович Шереметев) (1622-1682) was a Russian military commander. Boyar since 1653, voivode of Smolensk (1656-1658), later of Kiev (1658-1660?). One of Russian commanders during the Russo-Polish War (1654–1667); he fought in the battle of Ochmatów (1655) and the battle of Cudnów (1660). Taken prisoner by the Tatars, he died in captivity.
